"Kill me, King Fire."

I moved closer to him and tapped his back. "I will think about that."

"You can really kill me?" A chuckle of Colden came on in his mouth. I sighed in relief when I recognized that the calmness was now written on his face.

"If your pack vanishes. What is the purpose of being an Alpha King of Ice if you don't have people?" I tapped his shoulder again, three times, soothing him. "You still have a pack to protect. Don't think of killing yourself. Learn how to control it instead."

"I will." He smiled at me and wrapped his hands in my arms....
