I held my handbag close as the reporters crowded around me, taking pictures and yelling questions I couldn’t answer all at once. The noise filled the air, making my heart race. I quickly looked at my car’s shiny roof parked a bit up the street, beyond the crowd. Almost there. Just a few more steps.

“Miss Ashton, what is it like to be back after six years? Did you make Cerberus to find George? Are you trying to make amends?” yelled a reporter, shoving a microphone in my face as if it could pull out my secrets.
