He didn't waste time. "Wendy," he started, his voice low and serious. "The Shadow Fangs Pack has had a lot of problems lately."

"Problems?" I repeated, acting like I didn't know. I knew exactly what he meant. The group was still dealing with George's quick, harsh grab for power and the trouble that followed.

"Yes, Wendy. More guards, tighter security, fights on our borders," he said, looking straight at her. "I think a lot of these problems are because we don't have a Luna."
