“I'm not sure.” Beta Richard answered simply, not going into any details.

Veronica immediately knew he didn't want to talk too much about it, so she didn't push for any more questions. She just remained silent throughout the drive to the hospital.

As they got to the hospital and pulled up at the car park, he quickly dashed in, with Veronica running behind him to catch up with him.
