I couldn't focus on anything. My mind kept replaying the events of the past few weeks over and over again. I had a stalker, someone who had been watching my every move, sending me creepy messages and gifts. I didn't know who it was or what they wanted, and that thought alone made my skin crawl.

I was lost in my thoughts, so much so that I didn't even realize that Alex had been talking to me until she grabbed my hand.
