I hailed a cab with no intention of going to the hospital.
My left hand gripped my right wrists tightly as I tried to calm myself down.
I could not let an outsider know what was going on with me.
"You can drop me off here." I ordered the taxi driver despite the fact we barely got anywhere.
"I'll pay you the full amount." I added before any protest could slip out of him, instantly a smile settled on his face.
