I walk into the hospital room, my shoes soft against the cold floor. The smell of antiseptic stings my nose, but it doesn’t bother me. All I can think about is him—Eren.
He’s lying on the bed, his arm bandaged, a few scratches on his face, but he’s smiling. His golden eyes meet mine, and I can’t help but smile back.
