I stepped out of the ward with clenched fists.

The second I entered the corridor, I saw Ronan still sitting there. His eyes snapped to me the moment I approached and he shot to his feet.

“How is she?” He asked.

I halted in my tracks, my jaw tightened so hard I felt the veins throb in my neck.

“She’s in a coma.”

Ronan blinked. “What?” His voice came out like he didn’t believe me.

I turned to him. “I want you to gather everyone who was at the dining hall during lunch. Every single maid and guard.”
