I made my way out of the inner court, heading straight to the pack’s lab to meet with Jeff and Dr. Javier. Honestly, my heart was pounding fast. I didn’t know what I was going to discover, but I had a feeling it was going to be big.

Someone had actually poisoned our future Luna.

It was unfortunate…disgusting, even. From the moment the poison was first detected, my mind had immediately gone to Lovena.
