A sense of relief washed over me the moment her lips met mine.

I won’t lie, I didn’t think she’d do it. I was giving her the choice, but deep down, a part of me was ready to taste disappointment.

But the second she leaned in, the second her lips touched mine, it was like my entire world stilled… and then exploded.
