I raised an eyebrow. “Sherlock?”
Levi gave a slow nod. “Yes. He’s dead.”
I went still.
For a moment, there was only silence.
Then I leaned back in my chair, my eyes narrowing. “Lucian killed him?”
“Yes, my Lord,” Levi said. “Slashed his head clean off.”
Tch. Typical Lucian.
That immortal bastard had the patience of a burning fuse. It wouldn’t take much to set him off. The moment anyone made him feel small, he exploded like a child denied a toy.
I let out a slow breath. “What a waste. That wizard might’ve been useful.”
Levi remained silent, waiting for instruction.
