It had been seven days since that whole ridiculous public spectacle, and honestly, I hadn’t seen Killian since then.

I was still in my chambers apparently, the Alpha had granted me ten days of leave, and that meant I still had about three more days left before returning to duty.

And I won’t lie… it felt good.

No tedious work, barked orders, fake smiles.
