I felt funny. Not in a bad way, just… different. Like I’ve stepped into someone else’s body.
I heard… twinkling? The faintest chime of bells. And something else, the ruffling of leaves, the gentle drip of water, like a stream nearby.
My eyes fluttered open.
I was floating. I felt weightless in a glowing river that shimmers like stardust. The water felt warm and alive like I was being cradled.
Above me hung the moon, impossibly large, casting a silver light that blankets everything.
The trees nearby glowed faintly, their leaves sparkling like they’ve been dipped in moonstone.
I blinked again and slowly sat up, and I realized...
