Julian's POV

“How is he?” I asked Dr. Phoenix as he stepped out of Alex’s room. I had been in the waiting room for the past thirty minutes as Dr. Phoenix attended to Alex.

“He’s stable more that he was yesterday,” Dr. Phoenix replied, his voice steady but tinged with concern. “We’ve done what we can, but he’s still a little critical. He was actually lucky to get saved quickly, but he has some burns on his body, especially on his legs and arms, but we will keep monitoring him closely.”
