"Where are you going, Soph?" Isabella's voice stopped me in my tracks. "That's not the way to the hospital."

"Shhh!" I whispered, turning to her with my finger pressed to my lips. "Julian is behind that green grass." My heart raced at the thought of seeing him again.

I turned back, trying to move as silently as possible, but my heels were a betrayer.

"What are you doing, Soph?" Isabella stepped in front of me, blocking my view. Her brow furrowed with concern. "How the hell could Julian be here? Is this the pregnancy hormones talking, or are you just imagining things?"
