I turned to the other side of my bed, and my eyes fluttered open, and almost immediately, sunlight filtered through, the rays directly hitting my eyes.

“Oh shit,” I cursed as I shut my eyes and turned to the other side facing the door. After getting used to the bright light in the room, I opened my eyes again and sat upright on the bed.

My head banged hard; it felt like it was going to burst open soon.
