Eve didn't listen to her, she continued to examine the car while looking at every inch of it carefully and now she even started to touch it.

"Hey! Aren't you listening to me! And what are you doing? Get your filthy hands off my expensive car!" the girl complained, starting to glare and get angry.

"Thankfully, it looks like your car..isn't damaged!" Eve straightened up and looked over to her side, smiling with relief.

But both of them were surprised when they looked at each other.

"Eve?"

"Maira?"

"Well, I'm Maira! Is that you, Eve? Wow, what are you doing here? Hey, how long has it been since we've seen each other? Since... since middle school, right? 3 or 4 years, maybe? Well, since you got close to Robert, since then you've been hard to talk to, let alone hang out with, right?" Maira leaned against the hood of her car and lit a cigarette.

"Oh, yes, of course. I'm sorry. It's just that you look so beautiful, I wish I could be like you." the waitress bowed towards Maira.

"You're not apologizing to me. It's to this friend of mine!" snapped Maira who didn't like sycophants in front of her.

"Ah, I'm sorry. I'm sorry! So what do you want to say?" nervously looked at Eve.

"Chocolate milkshake and spaghetti I think that's enough!" Eve was starting to lose her appetite. She thought spaghetti was enough.

"Please make two, and baked potatoes one. Would you like some?" Maira offered.

Eve shook her head, she was quite surprised to hear Maira's order, it was quite a lot for a woman who looked after her body.

"Alright, that's it! Thank you!"

After the waiter's departure, Maira began to look at Eve sadly, "So, what happened? Tell me! I've got all day for you! Who knows if I can help!"

And Eve began to tell everything from her parents leaving, her uncle's house being taken, sleeping on the streets, her sister Adeline being hospitalized, to seeing Robert's affair with Eve's cousin and the end of their romance.
