Allan shot Tom a glare, then burst out laughing.

"Is this a joke, Tom? No! There's no way Eve left me! She..she..loves me! You must be lying, right? You were doing a prank, then Eve showed up, right? Hahaha...Eve...! Eve, come out, baby, this isn't getting any funnier, Eve!" Allan stood up from his seat and spun around his office looking for Eve.

Tom who saw Allan's behavior could only shake his head and exhale.

"Eve is not here! She may have even traveled far away by now, or...she has left the country! You're too late, Allan!" Tom exclaimed softly.
