Damon stood up before the lady could get to our table, he got to her and whispered some words into her ear before she followed him out of the restaurant, then came back moments later.

I composed myself as I waited for him to sit down and explain who the lady is to him, but he never did, he just went back to eating without sparing me a glance.

I know I'm a bit annoyed by the strange human lady, but I'm more than annoyed by his attitude.

I mean, don't I deserve to know who she is as his mate? The lady...
