“My true mate? Who told you that?” I farrowed my brows as I asked her.

“You can't continue deceiving me, Damon. I am your mother, it hasn't been long you asked me about one's true mate, and recently, you lose control of your wolf. I can only trace those events to one thing, both mean one thing, son. Now, where is she?”

I chuckled and stared at her outstretched hand.

“Mom, you are mistaken. I… I haven't found my true mate, at least it hasn't been confirmed.” I looked away and informed.
