I made it to the school as fast as I could. It wasn't easy entering the premises of the most prestigious school during after hours, especially since the town had a new curfew. I had to park my car somewhere down the road and then I snuck inside, staying wary of the guard. I held the money in my pocket where it would be safe and headed to the school hall. There I waited for the kidnapper.

I didn't try calling that number because I had a feeling I won't reach the caller. I didn't like any of this. It felt as if I was just a chess piece...
