Derrick was sitting right across Lannard, throwing daggers at him with his eyes. I was standing, leaning against the window with folded arms. There were times where I'd let him get away with his bullying, but those days were over.

"I am very disappointed in you Lannard!" Derrick scolded. "You've been doing so well on school. Your grades have been improving, you kept your academics and your sports well-balanced. You've finally graduated and this is what you've been doing with all of your time instead of preparing yourself for college?"

Lannard faced down at his hands. "I'm sorry, Principal D and it's ain't what it looks like."
