I wake up to my phone's alarm, turn it off, and get out of bed. I step into the shower for about 15 minutes and then head to my closet. I put on jeans, a white t-shirt, and my sneakers. I comb my hair and leave it loose. As I look at myself in the mirror, I notice some bruises on my face, particularly the one on my lip. I try to cover it up with makeup.
