#Chapter9
We arrived at an old abandoned factory. It gave me the creeps, the walls needed a new coat of paint and most of the windows were shattered. All in all I did not want to go in there.
Stop being such a baby! The voice in my headed scolded. I seriously get so annoyed by it.
"Are you sure you want to do this Tor, we don't have to if you don't want to?" I knew Darron was trying anything to keep me away from this place. It just gave me all the more reason to do this.
"We're doing this no matter what you say Darron." He nodded and we got out the car. There were many other cars around us but it looked like Darron had his own reserved parking. Literally he had a name plate and everything.
We walked past a few people who looked really intimidating. Darron had made me wear something more appropriate for this event. I’m now wearing black skinny jeans, combat boots, a leather jacket and a tank top.
My hair was loose so it was flowing down. If I have to be honest I think I looked really good from what I usually look like. He said these clothes would give me a more intimidating look.
And it did the people who looked at me either avoided eye contact or just gave me a respectful nod.
We walked into the building and I wanted to leave right away. All my senses were going haywire. The smells in here were awful, sweat, blood, alcohol, drugs, sex. I cringed at all the horrific smells.
The people around me looked even worse, some looked decent but others....ugh! I’m not a person who really judges people off their looks but so far to the guys they are assholes.
About three already have tried to touch my ass and each time its either me or Darron punching or kicking them.
Most of the girls looked like prostitutes, they were basically wearing underwear in my point of view. A lot tried to get Darron’s attention but he just shrugged them off not noticing them.
I kind of felt sorry for them but it all disappeared when they sneered or glared at me. Fuck you bitches!
He led me to a bar where he ordered me a soda while he got a beer. I've never liked alcohol to many bad memories with it.
"Okay so who's fightin-" I was cut off when a couple bumped into me while they were making out. "Hey asshole you gonna say sorry?" The guy stiffened, then started to laugh hysterically.
What did this asshole take? "Do you say that to everyone Tori?" Shit I knew that voice and I was hoping to not see one of them tonight. "Caleb! What are you doing here?"
He ignored the girl he was making out with. I felt sorry for her because she started to actually cry and ran away. "What the fuck you asshole! You don't do that to a girl or anyone for that matter!"
"Nah I do that to her all the time. She should be used to it by now. So the question is why are you here?" He smirked and leaned on the bar.
"First off your such a jerk and second of all I’m here with my friend Darron." He looked over my shoulder towards Darron who was looking around the place.
"Aaah Mr. I’m-gonna-save-everyone." I wanted to really punch him right now but someone beat me to it just not with a punch, such a shame. "Hey little fucktard I can hear you, you know?" Darron stood next to me tightly holding his beer.
Caleb just put his hands up in surrender and apologised. Him and Darron started to talk casually forgetting everything. "Hey Caleb you didn't answer my question. Why you here?"
He stopped talking with Darron and looked at me. "Watching Foster fight tonight." My eyes were probably the size of bowling balls. "Foster is a fighter?" I shrieked.
"Yeah so are me and Dalton though we don't have a fight tonight." How did I not see that coming? Now I understand why 'Killers' men went after the guys.
I was going to ask another question but I was cut off with an announcer speaking okay more like yelling. "Ladies and fighters!" Wow sexist much? "Tonight we have an amazing fight for you all. Give it up for Cody 'Psyco' Markens!"
There were a lot of boo's coming from the crowd when a guy who had red hair jumped onto the ring. He bounced up and down like a mad man. Now we understand where 'Psyco' comes from.
"And now the one you've all been waiting for! Foster 'Mayhem' Carson!" Everyone was cheering loudly for Foster. He was wearing a red robe that was open and let me tell you my inner girl was screaming when I saw his body.
What made her squeal even more was when he dropped the robe and I could see every single muscle. I just wonder how it would feel if I could just- "I'd stop drooling." Darron whispered in my ear.
I reached up to my mouth to find that there was no drool. I glared at him but he just laughed at me. "Ha ha, you’re so funny." He winked and then we turned back to the fight.
I continued to look at Foster. I noticed he has a tattoo on his right peck. It looked really good on him.
They both took their stances and held their fists up. The opponent looked really scared, you could tell he was trying to not show his fear but he was failing miserably.
The bell rang and the fight began. Foster stalked this Cody guy like a lion stalks his prey. He had this evil look in his eye when he eyed the guy up and down.
Cody to the first attack, going for a jab to the gut but Foster dodged it easily and landed an elbow jab to the guys back, making him fall to the ground with a loud thud.
He quickly got up again, he stayed on defense while Foster punched, jabbed and kicked anywhere where Cody was open.
Cody took a swing at Foster and hit him square in the jaw. Foster spat our blood and then he turned into a beast.
Every hit he landed on Cody looked ten times worse than the last one. Eventually Cody was on the floor bleeding but Foster kept going, that’s when I saw people start to panic.
Foster was going to do something soon that he'd fully regret. It didn't look like anyone was going to get in the middle of this, but me being me, I found myself running towards Foster.
People tried to stop me but I just ran past them. I reached the ring and jumped over the rope. "Foster stop!" I screamed. I went out to touch his arm but I was pulled back into someone’s chest.
I turned around to find a guy who looked like the announcer. "You little bitch get off the ring!" I struggled to get out of his grip. "No! Foster stop please! Please stop! Foster-" I was cut off by a punch across my face.
I fell to the ground and my head hit the cement hard. "Tori!" I heard Foster yell. I saw Foster get off of Cody, luckily Cody was still breathing. I at least know I saved someone right now.
Foster ran over towards me and held me in his arms. I looked over at the announcer to find that Dalton and Caleb were punching him while Darron was crouching down next to me and Foster.
"Tori can you hear me? I’m so sorry, please be okay!" I smiled at Foster and put my hand on his cheek. I the said the first thing that popped into my head.
"Why does everyone keep punching me today?" At that they all laughed. I saw that Dalton and Caleb had joined us now and they were just chuckling. I was fine but I really had the urge to tease them.
"Foster?" I whispered to him. He looked down at me fear clouding his eyes. "Yes Tori?"
"I see a white light." At this all the guys started to panic. "No, no Tori. Stay with us please, please don't go!"
A person actually wonders why someone you've only known for a couple of days would be crying right now over you almost dying and that’s exactly what the guys were doing.
Well except Darron I think he knew what I was doing. "Have fun in hell Tori! See you soon!" Darron yelled at me with a smile. All the guys looked at him and gave him their most evil glare. "Thank you Darron I'll see you there after school." At that me and him burst out laughing.
"Oh come on guys it was just a little joke!" I said to the guys. Right now we're outside standing by Darron’s car. The guys are busy pouting like little five year old’s.
"We thought you were really dying. Why would you do that?" Caleb pretended to sniffle. "It was comedy gold. Oh come on admit it you guys are just upset that I tricked you."
They rolled their eyes and smiled at me. I looked at Dalton and you could see his face held regret and guilt. I kind of felt bad for him but I know I shouldn't.
"Tori can I please talk to you?" I nodded and followed him to a secluded area of the parking lot.
"Look Tori I’m really sorry for what-" I cut him off not wanting to hear this.
"Look Dalton yes I’m still pissed at you for what you said because you had no right to say or do the things that you did. But.... you showed me in there that you do actually think of me as a friend even though it meant you had to beat someone up."
"I still appreciate it. So I forgive you but that doesn't mean you still don't have to make it up to me." I knew my words had shocked him. "But I don’t deserve your forgiveness. What I did was an ass move. Why forgive me when all I did was stand up for you?"
"You stood up for our friendship that’s what made me forgive you." Then I walked back to Darron's car and we left.
Who knew that my first time going to an illegal fight would end up with me in the fight?
