As I got out, the once cool night air became suffocating.

“Arghhh!” I screamed in tears, falling to my knees on the road, men and women stealing glances as they passed by.

“How?” My lips trembled, saliva dripping out of my mouth. “How could they do this to me? Why did I have to live my life as Brad’s son? Why did my real father leave and my mother all alone in the hands of Brad?”
