As soon as Alex was sure I meant my "yes," he crashed his lips onto mine. It was completely opposite from the gentle tease just seconds before.

The air was punched from my lungs by the sheer force and hunger of his mouth. Everything else—sound, sight, time, melted into white noise as I clutched onto him like a lifeline, kissing him back with equal desperation.
