Eira’s body suddenly convulsed violently as Kael drew closer to her, even brushing against her head. Her mind was in turmoil, convinced that her death was imminent simply because Kael was near her. She was so certain that Kael now held her life in his hands.

Whenever Kael wanted Eira to die, she would die. That was the only thought in Eira’s mind at that moment.
