Kael carried Alice’s body out of the hospital. He pretended to look panicked so no one would suspect him. He ran through the hospital entrance and prepared to call a nurse to treat Alice immediately.

However, the moment his feet touched the hospital’s tile floor, the atmosphere suddenly changed. The layout of the hospital—and even the faces of some of the nurses Kael had seen—had changed.
