Pearl walked downstairs,her attention was drawn to the pictures lined up on the wall. One particular picture caught her eyes, a picture of a man, a woman and a little girl.

She looked at the picture again,her eyebrows shot up, forming a high arch of astonishment. That picture looked familiar.

“That was taken on your third birthday,” Lady Mabel said, standing beside Pearl.
