I was expecting to wake beside my father in the world of the dead, but I am lying on a doctor's bed, surrounded by the four people I hate the most. Just the sight of them makes me wish I had died. 

"See, it was just a brief insensitivity caused by shock, your majesties. She is totally fine," Linda announces like that isn't obvious. 

King Ronen reaches out a hand to feel my forehead and I furiously slap it away. I have nothing left to lose, so they can go ahead and kill me. Finding my father was the only goal I had and now he is gone....
