I would not want them to hang Lior because I refused to go back with them. He saved my life once. Even offered to be executed in my place. I understand that he was certain that his refined masters would want to keep their loyal assistant so they would spare him. But now they would love to kill him. And I am sure they will do it anyway, regardless of what I choose. 

I cannot understand how they can just call him a traitor. Because he knew better than to let them know that it was I who commanded the dragons? He knew what they would have done...
