POV: Lyra

Six months had passed since I walked out of Darkhall territory.

The valley had changed. The great hall had been repaired and expanded and the silver banners had been replaced with new ones that caught the light and shone like stars against the dark stone. The village had grown and new cabins had been built along the river and the training grounds had been filled with wolves who had come from across the territories to pledge their loyalty to the Bloodline Pack.

I stood on the balcony of the great hall and looked out at all of it.
