Early the next morning, the old man from the night before helped her secure an apartment. It was fairly cheap as the owners were going on vacation and just needed someone to maintain it.

Afterward, Tessa took another nap. She was becoming more tired recently.

Tessa woke up to the sunlight that penetrated her eyes.

‘’Who left the window open.’’ She groaned as she squinted her eyes open.

The scene before her got her gasping in shock.

There was a large glassy window that gave a clear view of the forest behind the house.
