Chapter 6 - SC6

Chapter 6 - SC6

After looking around the apartment with Nicholas, Fheli decides to head back to the hospital. Entering the room, it turns out that Adhelia is visiting her mother.

In Fheli's eyes, it seemed that his best friend was busy talking. I don't know what topic they discussed. To be sure, the mother looks so comfortable and enjoying.

"Finally you're home too. How is it? Everything is settled?" said Adhel when he saw Felicia's figure who had just arrived.

"That's it. By the way, how long have you been here? How come you didn't tell me you wanted to visit today? I thought you asked about the room because you wanted to visit him tomorrow."

Adele smiled. The girl returned to respond.

"How about you, right? Today's schedule is our off work. Instead of waiting for next week, I'd better visit Aunt Amanda today."

"Then, are you satisfied talking to my mother now?" asked Fheli as he walked closer to the bed.

"Very good," Adhel nodded. "I even accompanied Aunt Amanda to eat all sorts of things."

Feli smiled. The girl then glanced at her mother.

"Have you taken your medicine?"

Amanda nodded slowly.

"That's it. The nurse helped me earlier."

"Because everything has been done, now is the time for Mama to rest. Later, Fheli will be allowed to go out again to get some clothes at home. As long as Fheli is not around, there will be a nurse who will accompany Mama for a while."

Amanda nodded obediently. Not disputing what Felicia asked and told him just now.

After the princess helped fix her body position so that, Amanda then slowly began to close her eyes. After all, the medicine he took earlier did have a drowsy effect. This is what made him yawn non-stop

While the mother was starting to rest, Felicia then invited Adhel to talk outside the room. He was sure, there must be something his friend wanted to talk to him.

"Fheli, you owe me an explanation," Adhel said when the two of them were already sitting in the waiting chair in front of Amanda's room.

Felicia took a deep breath. Actually, he had anticipated this. I'm sure the other purpose of his best friend's visit to the hospital was because he wanted to confirm something.

"What question do you want? Rayyen question? Or which question?"

"Yes, about Rayyen," Adhel replied, nodding repeatedly. His forefinger pointed right at Felicia's face. "You have to explain what Rayyen meant by yesterday's arrival on campus and about the news that said that you and him had been dating secretly. What's really going on here, Fhe? Is there something you're hiding from me?"

Again, Felicia took a deep breath. The beautiful girl was confused about where to explain to Adhelia first. He knew that his friend would surely bombard him with questions.

"It's a long story, Dhel. I'm just confused about where to tell the story."

"Just keep it short, Fheli. No need to beat around the bush. Just get straight to the point," Adhel said later. He was annoyed to see Felicia who was still reluctant to tell what really happened. "Oh, come on, Fheli. Hurry up and tell me what really happened," the girl chased when she saw Felicia, who, instead of telling a story, seemed to be still in her position.

"You remember about the fight at the bar a few nights ago, right? About me helping Rayyen when one of the journalists bothered him?"

Adele nodded. Of course he remembered what happened then.

"Yeah. How could I forget. What's wrong?"

"Everything started from that event, Dhel."

Adhel pulled his face in. The woman's forehead was dry because she was confused by what Felicia had just said.

"You mean?"

"So, after seeing that I could defend myself, Nicholas or Rayyen's manager asked me to work together. Right, we both know about Rayyen being involved in a scandal with Valeria Tan."

Adhel nodded again.

"So? What does Rayyen's scandal have to do with you?"

"Listen first!"

"Okay, nag. Carry on."

"With the excuse that he said I was good at martial arts, this Nicholas thought of asking me for help pretending to be Rayyen's girlfriend for a few months. In fact, I was promised that I would be given money with the appropriate nominal if I agreed. This was done on purpose by Rayyen's management. to dispel the scandalous news that is currently spreading in society."

"So, do you accept the offer?"

Felicia then shook her head. Actually he wasn't boasting. Initially, Felicia also did not agree with this very tempting offer. Even though he idolizes Rayyen, he's really lazy when he has to lie in public. It's a different story if Rayyen wants to make her a real lover. Perhaps, without much thought, Fheli would immediately agree.

"Actually, I have politely declined the offer ----"

"There must be a but, right?" Adhel cut in as if he could guess what Felicia would tell him after this.

"Yes. Unfortunately, on the same night when I came home, Mama suddenly became sick. When she was taken to the hospital, the doctor had ordered Mama to undergo surgery immediately if she wanted to survive longer. And, yes, as you might expect. It was predicted that the operating costs would be exorbitant. Because I didn't have anyone and didn't know where to borrow money, considering the nominal amount was not small, inevitably, in the end I accepted Rayyen's manager's offer."

Adhel seemed to be listening intently. Paying attention and staring closely at Felicia's face, which was so serious and careful, told the whole chronology of the events that the girl had recently lived through.

"Then, after you accepted the offer, how much compensation did they get?" Adhel inquired curiously. I'm also curious how much Rayyen gave Felicia a commission for the cooperation.

"500 million to be a pretend girlfriend for six months."

"CRAZY!" Adhel exclaimed in a loud voice. A few seconds later, the girl reflexively covered her mouth with her own palm. Glance left and right, then speak in a whisper. "Rayyen gave you 500 million? This is called getting a windfall, please, Fhe. Just imagine, you're already a pretend boyfriend, you get a lot of money too."

"Ah, I don't know," sighed Fheli in a lazy tone of voice. As if tired of explaining to his best friend. "If you know, Rayyen even lent me an apartment while I was his pretend girlfriend. That's not all. He also asked me to stop working temporarily. And all the salary money that I should get every month, he replaced and accumulated up to the next six months. front."

Adhel's pupils widened hearing what Felicia had just said. He thought, random incidents like this only exist in soap operas or FTV. Apparently it can also happen in real life and even experienced by his own best friend.

"Gosh, Fheli, this is what's called a windfall. You've got a handsome pretend boyfriend. You're given apartment facilities, even if it's temporary. Uh, you get a lot of money anyway. If that's the story, I want that too."

"You mercenary," Fheli chuckled and then pursed his lips. "Just so you know, now I'm even more confused myself, how do I explain this to Mama. From the start, I've told you all the costs of surgery and treatment that I can borrow from Mr. Andrew. Meanwhile, when it's time to leave the hospital, I don't want to have to bring Mama to immediately move to the apartment that Rayyen has given me. It's impossible for me to leave Mama alone in the old rented house."

Adele nodded in understanding. He also felt the anxiety that Felicia was currently experiencing. Adhel was sure that Amanda would think all kinds of things if after returning from the hospital, instead of being taken home to the old rented house, Fheli took Amanda to the apartment that Rayyen had been preparing for a while.

"There is no effective way other than telling the truth to Aunt Amanda."

"That's tantamount to suicide, Dhel. All that is, Mama will give lectures seven days and seven nights."

"No way," Adhel shook his head, trying to calm him down. "I'm sure that if you tell me what really happened, Aunt Amanda will definitely be able to understand your position. After all, there's no other way. It's better to be honest than to keep on lying. What you have will only hurt you."

Feli took a deep breath. Consider carefully the suggestion that Adhel just made. If you think about it, instead of getting dizzy looking for continuous reasons that fall instead of lying, it's better for him to tell his mother honestly what really happened recently.

"I will try your suggestion, Dhel. Later, when Mama's condition is much better and stable, I will slowly tell you and explain everything."

Adele nodded in agreement. A little relieved after seeing Felicia, who used to look very disheveled, is now more relaxed with a little story.

"But, by the way..." continued Adhel speaking. "This is the fix for you to stop working at the bar, right?"

"Yes, Dhel," nodded Felicia. "As of today, I've resigned from Magnolia. However, once my business with Rayyen is over, maybe I'll come back to work there."

"Whatever your decision is as long as it is good, I will definitely support it, Fhe."

Feeling that she had told everything that was propping up in her heart, Felicia then got up from her seat. Turning towards Adhel, the girl gave a code while inviting to speak.

"Because you already know the real story, now you come with me to the house to pack some clothes. Then, next we go together to the new apartment that Rayyen gave me to borrow."

Adele nodded in agreement. The girl soon got up from her seat. Following where Felicia stepped, carrying her away.

Rayyen threw his tired body on the sofa in the television room. A few minutes ago, he had just returned from the shooting location.

While unbuttoning the shirt buttons that covered his body one by one, the sound of a bell echoed from the door. Growling lazily, the man then got up. Seconds then dragged his feet lazily towards the main door. As soon as he opened it, Rayyen found Valeria's figure there.

Without being invited, a woman who is still beautiful at the age of four heads immediately barged in. Walk towards the living room, then after sitting on the couch in front of the television.

"Rayyen, what's with all the news today? You haven't even picked up any of my calls since last night."

Rayyen followed suit. Approached Valeria, then gave an explanation.

"It's not all what you think."

"So what? What exactly happened? Don't try to make fun of me, Rayyen!"

"Honey..." Rayyen called softly. "Don't get angry just yet. I told you, this is not what you imagined. Regarding the news that is currently busy in the media, those are all settings that have been arranged by Nicholas."

Valeria gasped. Linking her eyebrows, the woman asked for more explanation from her popcorn boyfriend.

"What setting do you mean?"

"Yes, regarding the news you heard today, it was all arranged by Nicholas. He deliberately did this all to break the news of the scandal between the two of us that had spread."

"So this girl isn't your girlfriend?"

Rayyen even heard laughing then shook his head. He was sure his girlfriend was very jealous at this time.

"Not at all. After all, my boyfriend is only you, right? The woman I like and love is also you."

"You bastard," Valeria chuckled.

"I'm serious, honey. So, Nicholas is the one who arranges this arrangement of girlfriends. You don't need to be jealous, angry, or annoyed. This is all nothing more than a pretense."

"You promise you won't mess up?"

Rayyen then nodded repeatedly. Trying to convince his lover that in this world there is no other woman he loves besides Valeria Tan.

"I'm not going to mess around behind your back."

Valeria smiled happily. Squeezing his body, seconds later the woman wrapped her hands around the nape of her lover's neck. Advance face. Intending to plant a kiss on Rayyen's lips.

However, before that intention could be realized, Rayyen's apartment door was heard being knocked repeatedly. In fact, the longer it sounds the louder it gets.

Annoyed, Rayyen got up angrily. As soon as he opened the door, he found a girl who was so familiar to his eyes.

"Felicia, what are you doing here all night?"
