"Am sorry for coming without informing you but I wanted to hand over your employment letter".
I quickly took it from him in a rush veering back to see if aunt was in any way taking heed to our conversation.
"Thank you!" I said with a warm smile on, rather he retreats with a question, "are you okay?" To me.
"Yeah! I am but I was kinda doing something inside when I was told you were waiting outside for me".
There was no possible way but to lie to him, thus the sooner he leaves from here the faster I get back inside the house and avoid aunt's suspicious question.
"Oh Okay, I think this best I leave now, so! See you tomorrow".
Daren opens up his arms to embrace me but halts the second aunt's steps out of the house, "good evening ma'am!" His words veer my eyes to the same person I tried to hide his visit from.
"Oh! Aunt, what are doing here, it's cold outside?" I covered up the distance between us recouping her attention over to me.
"I should be asking you! Why are you here talking with the enemy?"
She frowned upon, turning the same face to Daren who stood like a statue for a while, "leave from here?" She says with an authority as he quickly obeys entering into his car.
We watched as his car drove afar, returning her angry gaze at me, "what don't give me that look! I know what I am doing". Aunt smirked her way back into the house.
The following Morning
(6:00 am)
Before the sunsets, I was already up and ready for my new day at work, as a part of my good luck charm, my aunt placed a green gem necklace over to me, she says it belonged to my mom when she was alive.
I thanked her, ran check on my attire, and slowly strolled out of the house, with a calm posture. The cab stopped at the main entrance of the building "Drew's industries". My feet walked closer to the door, as it automatically opened up to me, with a welcoming sound.
Daren took heed of my presence there and asked income over to his office, "good morning Mr. Daren" he veered his gaze upon me with a smile on, once again welcomed me into the company, not only that my duties were slowly without rush explained to me, and the doors to my office opened to me.
It felt like everything was going according to plan but too easy, if I may say.
The same day, after he toured me around the company, the rest of the hour's I watched him work, Daren volunteered to teach me everything I needed to know being his assistant, minus the fact I did know what to do, an aunt made it known to me that Daren was going to volunteer to teach me but himself, how romantic right?".the whole day ran by.
