Garrett didn't hesitate and quickly grabbed the cup, pouring the liquid into his mouth. The taste must have been quite revolting, as he gagged, and I immediately covered his mouth with my hand. Johnny was nervous and exclaimed, "Don't throw up! This is the only cup we have."

I took a few pieces of candy from Caroline's hand and placed one in Garrett's mouth. "Garrett, be a good boy and swallow it all at once."

Tears welled up in Garrett's eyes as he obediently swallowed the mixture with a gulp, and I couldn't help but laugh. This time it was my turn to tease him.
