Anila's POV

I handed the medicinal herbs to Judy, instructing her to brew the concoction three times a day and remind me to drink it. Though I detested the taste of medicine, for the sake of the child, I needed to muster strength.

Judy, wide-eyed at the multitude of medicine packets, exclaimed, "So many medicines?! BETA, are you sure you'll consume all of them?"

She looked at me with hesitant eyes. Her disbelief was entirely justified; she knew me too well. I might just discreetly dispose of it.

"I'm not a child anymore. Why be afraid of medicine? Rest assured, I'll finish them all." I retrieved a plethora of candies...
