Bonnie's POV

"I have seen many difficult things in my life, Bonnie, but I am now forced to believe that staying away from you tops it all."

I stood there, frozen, as I tried to process whether he really said those words or not.

He rolled his eyes, like he didn't just say something so heavy and heart stopping. "Snap out of it. You're being dramatic."

And I smiled. I didn't mean to, but I just did.

"I was not expecting to see you." I finally found my voice and said to him.

"I did not expect to find myself here either."
