Beatrice was a supercilious stubborn girl whose dream and aim was to get adopted by some wealthy family and later go in search of her parents.

Her dream finally came through after so many years of living in the orphanage. She was adopted by her fantasy family and one fateful night something terrible happened which cause her adopted family life.

They were robbed that night as most of them were injured while the rest were found dead. but thankfully nothing happens to her.

Beatrice's fantasy life came crashing down afterwards. To help Her poor family who made her who she is today, she decided to look for a paying job and use the money for her fostel mother's bills. She Finally got accepted into the big famous club in the country of Korea as a waiter.

Later on, Beatrice met and fell in love with a guy who usually comes to the club at night. Unknown to her, the guy was nothing but a spy who was sent to her. To know her identity And lead her into the game.

A 13 years old Beatrice, could be seen leaning against the wall as she savored her nostril watching the scenes where some girls like her were taken away by some couples as she pondered when she will be adopted by some family.

"Come on beatrice!" let's go inside! Maybe next time you could be picked Among Them.

Her friend probably known as..

" Pearl," who had been watching her, shrugged at her as she took a deep breath.

" They never will have pearls!" I had been living in this orphanage my whole life. I really want to explode the world! I don't wanna live hidden forever here obeying unnecessary rules and regulations.

"It wouldn't pass one thing, "oh no...., please don't utter such words. Her friend who had already known the unpleasant words coming from her mouth... Cessated her off. She should stop saying such words. She isn't cursed or anything. "I think I'm cursed.

She finally let out the unpleasant words as her friends nodded her head in supercilious. "When will you stop being too hard on yourself...." beatrice?

"You should know there's time for everything. And maybe.... the people who will adopt you right now aren't the right one for you. I redolent you to be patient.

Pearl confronted her as she ran out of her and without a second doubt, she knew she was running to their Guardians.. "miss Kim" for interrogation. But she doesn't think Beatrice will like the outcome of it as Miss Kim was a harsh, strict woman.

Beatrice stood in front of "Kim" who seemed to be fanning herself as Beatrice cleared her throat, pulling her attention.

"Miss Kim!

She spoke her heart racing fast at the moment as she tried quenching her fear but she couldn't, the more she tried to feel easy around her the more she got terrified and mortificated towards her.

She swallowed her saliva as she took in a deep breath and decided to spare her a glance when she noticed her bulging eyes on her, so she had been watching her drama the whole time.

"Miss Kim; please can you tell me who my real parents are? She finally found the confidence to speak to her as the words came out in a more heartbroken tone and interrogating way.

Kim let out a mischievous grin "When do you have so much confidence to speak to me in that way?" Kim asks, stunned to see her wings growing so much bigger everyday. She stood up from the chair and walked towards her.

"Sorry to say, but I can't help you in whatever you want to know! "You're still a child so you wouldn't understand a thing or know how to take care of the situation around you!

" I understand you really want to look for your biological parents. "But not now, child! You still have much to learn and please...... " But I'm thirteen!" I'm a teenager now and I can look for my parents by myself! She interrupted her off as Miss Kim gives her a dangerous gaze.

Oh no! She just crossed the line! She raise her voice at her which is forbidden and any body found guilty of it would be given penalty

"I can see you're becoming too supercilious which is a bad habit here! I won't tolerate such attitude the next time you incite me up because you wouldn't like the outcome of it!"

" I understand you really wish to be picked and taken by other but it isn't my fault. "I think it's your fate to be blamed! Why did your parents abandon you here or either your mother die in the process of giving birth to you or maybe you're just a cursed child! It's up to you to decrypt that out and found the mystery behind everything.

"I think everything happens for a reason and it's either you await your fate or change it while you still can.

All those while, Beatrice muttered taking the crucial part of what she was saying but she found it too profound to understand as they sounded like a parable to her ears.

"I will let this your supercilious character slide today but be warned never for it to repeat itself towards me because I will give you a penalty which is more exacerbated than I had ever given you. She Utter and walks out of her.

Beatrice obeyed herself and rapidly walked to her room. And then she found a pearl who was giving her this look of....."I warned you not to question her!

" It came out bad, didn't it?" Pearl asked as she nodded her head and sat on the floor. "Yeah! I regret going to her for some rhetorical question which can't be answered!"

She wasn't even helpful at all as she ended up saying Maybe I was abandoned that's why I ended up being here. Speaking in a parable that was too profound to understand. Tears streamed out of her eyes as she let out her emotions.

"It's okay beatrice! Please don't cry! Pearl confronted her as she put her in a big hug.

" Again with the crying babies! A familiar voice echoes in as they disengage from the hug. And then goes with; Lupe,Sophia, Alvaro and Ava.

Lupe was always in front of them as she gathered her squad to come and mock beatrice.

"Why can't you do without crying? Lupe pouted out her folded hands as she glared at her friends who were laughing at them.

" You can't imagine the words Miss Kim pouted at her earlier.

" Alvaro", a fat eleven years old boy said as everybody glared at her. "Care to share the words with us?" Lupe asked him as he glared at Beatrice who was signifying him not to say anything about her.

"Miss Kim said she was abandoned by her parents because she was a cursed child!

Alvaro rasped in as everybody Burst into laughter. Beatrice was engrage by those words as she wanted to stand up but pearl gripped hold of her.

"That explains why she had never been picked among the adopted children!" Sorry to say this.... but" you will stay in this orphanage forever! Lupe pouted out as she stood up indignantly and grabbed hold of her hair. Beatrice dragged her hair and punched her face as one of their guardians came to their rescue.

He slapped Beatrice immediately before she could even start to explain herself. He hated Beatrice for being a stubborn girl who always fought with everybody in any issues.

"What happened that you're picking on her?" The man probably knows as their security asks as she breathes rapidly. Her face showing anger

"She was the one who started everything! She insulted me and I couldn't hold it back so I beated her up immediately. Beatrice explains as he scoffs. Stunned by her confidence.

"You've always been a stubborn girl ever since I know you and for that! You will be punished. He Utter as Beatrice hiss at them before walking Away with him.

"Please where are you taking me to?" Beatrice asks but got no response from him as she decided to see where he's dragging her to. Beatrice scrintize the place he was taking her to and found out that he was taking her to "miss Kim" Her heart skipped immediately.

"Oh no! I can't let this happen! I can't let her know of everything that Just happened because she had warned me of the penalty attached to it.

Beatrice thought as she brought out the pin she used in holding her hair and used it to stab his hand as he let go of her. Beatrice heard him screaming her name immediately as she ran for her life
