Where was I?

I asked myself as I looked around in confusion.

Yet all that met my eyes was fog. There was nothing in sight other than the mist that covered the endless white space.

It was like the dream I had before, except for some reason this felt real.

My breathing, my racing heart, even the fog that drifted through my body felt real.

Was this a dream or not?
