He punched the steering wheel, getting angry; he wanted to tell his parents about her and Jahnvi, but his parents left all over again for another important meeting. How much more dramatic this could get
Here Jahnvi was eating his mind, forcing him to tell about them to his parents, and he is not getting a perfect time.
He feels like banging his own head on the wall.
His phone rang, snapping him out of his thoughts. His eyes sparkled seeing the caller ID; it was from his love, Jahnvi. "Yes, Jahnvi?"
"I'll be there by 5," and he hung up the call.
Grabbing the water bottle, he gulped down the water and drove to Raichand and Co.

Sayantika was trying hard to sleep, but it was far away from her eyes as she was thinking about the conversation that she had with her parents on the call an hour back.
Flashback.
Keeping the book aside, she was about to lie down when her phone rang, flashing her dad's name. Smiling, she grabbed the phone and picked up the call.
"Hello, Papa, How are you doing?" She asked, sounding happy.
"I am doing good, bacche. How are you? Had your dinner?" She heard her dad's concerned question from the other side of the phone.
"Yes, I am doing fine, and I had my dinner as well. Where are Maa and Laksh?"
"Laksh has already slept, and your mom is sitting beside me, and the phone is on speaker." She heard her dad "Sayyuu, we need to discuss something important with you. Are you free?" She heard her mother saying and could hear the seriousness in her voice.
"Yes, ma'am, I say,I am free."
"Baccha, you know right, last day Raichand came in our house for lunch?" Of course, how can she forget that? How can she forget The Abhimaan Raichand and his almost naked self in her room?
She felt herself shivering just by the visuals of that man.
"Sayyu, you there? Hello?" And this snapped her out of her thoughts.
"Uh yes maa say" She cleared her throat, kicking away those thoughts from her mind.
"Actually today Mrs. Raichand has called, and she wants you as her daughter-in-law."
"WHATTTT?" She literally yelled, her eyes widening at the sudden news; her roommates stared at her in disbelief at her yelling.
Pressing her tight-lipped smile, she apologized, Uh, sorry, guys," and went to the balcony.
"Maa, what are you saying? Are you out of your mind?" She asked as soon as she went to the balcony; the cold air caressed her form.
"Yes, Sayyu, even we were shocked by her demand," her mother said.
"They even said that you can study after the marriage as much as you can; there won't be any obstacles between you and the study and—" Her mother went on saying about Mrs. Raichand's wordings.
"Maa It's alright; I understand now. You don't need to say how good Raichands are, but— She took a deep breath. "We are nothing in comparison to them; they are billionaires. There is no way we can mingle; their lifestyle is totally different from ours." She stated her point.
"They aren't like those rude and mean rich people; they are different, Sayyu. You'll be happy there." Her mother tried to convince her.
"Maa, Papa, I'll call you later; it's late, and I have back-to-back lectures tomorrow."

Two days later.
It's been two days. Abhimaan didn't have any talk with Jahnvi; he tried to reach out to her but failed miserably. The last time he met her was two days back, and she was sounding too off that day. He even tried to ask her about it, but she didn't say anything and chucked it off.
His parents are now finally at home, and he is surely going to talk about Jahnvi to them.
Taking a deep breath, he walked out of his bedroom and made his way down the stairs. He found his parents sitting in the living room enjoying tea, while Aashika was lying on the couch, keeping her head on her mother's lap and using her phone.
"Uh, Mom, Dad, I need to talk to you both about something." He cleared his throat, gaining their attention.
"Even we need to tell you about something important, Abhi," Avni chirped excitedly.
"Surely, Mom, I am all ears." He nodded and took a seat opposite his parents.
"Abhi, you know it well that I hate beating around the bush, so let's get to the point. I've chosen Mr. Sharma's daughter for you, and she will be perfect for Raichand's Daughter-in-Law." He felt someone snatch the ground underneath him when he registered his mother's words.
"Mom, what are you saying? Are you out of your mind?" He shouted, getting up from the couch.
"Behave, Abhimaan." His dad's stern voice made him a bit calm as he sat down again. "Also, I don't think Avni is saying anything wrong; Sayantika will be the perfect match for you." Anubhav further added.
"It's impossible; I love someone else," he stated, his voice calm yet frustrated.
"Well, I have something for you, son." He looked at his mother as she got up and grabbed the card, which was placed on the table; Abhimaan didn't notice the card earlier.
"Here." She forwarded the card to him.
Avni could see the change in his emotions, from the stern to disbelief to the sudden sadness and rage at last when he closed the card after reading and tore it into pieces.
"No, no, no, this can't be happening, this can't be happening." He didn't even realize when tears started rolling down from his cheeks.
Avni walked towards his son and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Just want to let you know, before choosing Sayantika, I sent proposals to Khanna's, but they denied it, and today I received the card that Jahnvi is getting to--"
"DON'T, DON'T SAY IT. SHE CAN'T GET MARRIED TO ANY OTHER GUY, DO YOU HEAR ME?" He was loosening his calm after seeing the wedding invitation card, which has his best friend's name with another guy.
"You are lying, right? Tell me, Mom, are you lying because you want me to get married to that gold digger, huh?" He questioned back.
"Aashika, go to your room," Anubhav said before standing up. She left, nodding her head, though she was enjoying the free show.
"This is your and Dad's plan, but remember I will not get married to that gold digger; I love Jahnvi." Yelling at his parents, he left for his bedroom.
Hastily wiping his tears, he grabbed his phone, wallet, and car keys and walked out of the mansion, ignoring his parents call.
He is in a state of denial; that's why he is not able to believe it. He is not able to believe that she is going to be someone else's wife. He just met her two days back, and that time she didn't even say anything.
He tried to call her umpteenth times on his way towards her residence, but every time it went unanswered.
When he reached her residence, the watchman opened the gate for him as he drove inside; he was flabbergasted seeing the mansion in front of him, which was decorated so beautifully.
He saw all the lights inside were off as if they had already slept. He checked the time, then looked up to find the light of her window was on. There was no way; he would ring the bell and go inside. He was already very angry, and he didn't want to face her parents, especially her dad. That man doesn't really like Abhimaan.
He tried to call her again, and this time she picked up his call. "Abhima--"
"Come out right now; we need to talk."

"Abhimaan, you are—" Her sentence stopped in the middle when he caught her shoulder and pinned her against the wall; she gasped at his gestures.
"What the fuck is going on, Jahnvi? What's this marriage shit, huh? You told me to talk to my parents, and here your family gave me the shock of the century by sending the invitation card," he whispered, yelling at her, with his hold tightening around her every single second.
"You are hurting me, Abhi," she let out painfully. "What about you, Jahnvi? Aren't you hurting me, huh?" He left her with a jerk and took a deep breath, palming his face.
"Tell me all these things are lies," he demanded.
"It's not a lie; I am getting married to Yuvraj Khurana, and tomorrow is my engagement." She accepted with a stern expression after gulping down the lump.
"What? Are you out of your fucking mind? What the fuck are you saying, dammit? He couldn't control himself and yelled, slamming a hard punch on the wall.
"Don't shout, Abhi," she requested, as she was scared that her parents might hear them.
"Is that Same Yuvraj Khurana who was married before and now is the father of one?" She nodded her head in yes.
"Why? What's that need of getting married to that bastard? What had happened all of a sudden? Maa even sent a proposal, but your parents denied it." He was getting more frustrated with every passing second.
"I am so sorry, Abhi. I know I told you to marry me; I forced you to talk to your parents, but now please forget everything that was between us. I am getting married." She completed her sentence, and he pinned her against the wall again.
"Forget? Is it that easy for you to forget everything, huh? Your family is forcing you to marry that old hag, right? We can get married to each other, Jahnvi; no one can stop us; we are two mature individuals." The sob left her lips, which she was controlling from the time she saw him.
"Please, please don't make it difficult for me, please." Her tears started rolling down her cheeks, so did his as they cried.
"Don't do this to me, Jahnvi," he whispered in tears, leaning more close to hers.
"I don't have any other option, Abhimaan, please." Hearing her words, he cupped her cheeks. "Tell me what the reason is; I'll help you, I promise." He demanded in desperation, wiping her strained cheeks.
"I am sorry." That's what she whispered, closing her eyes as more tears left her eyes. "We can't be together; we aren't meant to be---" Her words died down when his lips met hers; she was shocked as she tried to push him as much as she could, but he didn't budge a bit and kissed her with everything he had, the love, the pain, the bonding, until she started responding, her arms wrapped around his neck, as they kissed with more tears escaping their eyes.
(And this kiss was that first reason I did not make it a fanfiction lol🤣. I know how toxic this fandom is.)
When she felt his fingers tracing her waist, she opened her eyes with a jerk and pushed him, slapping him hard. "Thi—this can't be happening. I am not in love with you anymore. We were never in love. We two were just two horny teenagers back in our college and nothing else, and even now we aren't in a relationship or a couple. We were planning to get married because we are grown-up adults, but it's not possible. My marriage has been fixed with Yuvraj Khurana. He is far better than you, and there is nothing between us. Keep it in mind and don't try to contact me ever again." She threatened, emphasizing each and every word, while he looked down at her parents, and something caught his attention.
"Y" initial was drawn on her hand with the henna.
"And Abhimaan Raichand, never ever try to manhandle me ever again; everything's over between us; keep this in your mind," and she left.
She left, leaving him shocked; she left, breaking the ties that they had. That night, Abhimaan Raichand not only lost his first love; he lost his Jahnvi.
His best friend.
