The Merman let out a terrifying roar. His voice seemed to contain some kind of terrifying power that could cause the effect of a sonic attack. The pillars of the palace were shattered into pieces by his voice.

I felt a great pain in my head. I was soon dizzy from his voice.

Would he kill me? Would my body turn into pieces like pillars? I thought fearfully in the last seconds before I lost consciousness.

When I opened my eyes, I found that I was locked in a small space. The object that was trapping me could make a crisp knocking sound.
