"No! No! Elizabeth can't be a spy! She's my mate!" Elroy rushed to me and opened his arms wide to protect me.

"Elroy! Get back here! She's a winged wolf! She fooled us!"

"No! She's a giant wolf! She's my mate! I trust her! I won't let you hurt her!"

I always thought Elroy just treated me like a fun pet or toy. I couldn't believe Elroy would defy his father's orders and turn his sword on his own kind for me.
