"I'm smearing medicine. Could you come back later if you need to reach me about something?" Elizabeth hid on the bed, covering most of her body with the bed curtain.

"Do you need my help?" I took a few steps forward out of concern.

"Oh don't come over. It doesn't matter. It's just some medicine to make the old scars fade. No new wounds." Elizabeth stopped me from approaching in a panic and explained what the herb was for.
