Sapphire's Point Of View:

My jaw dropped at the number of people who were at the table.

I thought they would fill the seats but they didn't only fill the seats, some of them were standing due to insufficient seats!

“These are the important people in the empire, I couldn't invite everyone,” Dad whispered to me as he took my hand.

We walked towards the dinner and all eyes were on me.

I was led to my seat where I settled, looking at their faces nervously as they all waited for my words.

I just felt like I should dig the ground and bury myself alive....
