“Are you okay? Do you feel better now?" Dad asked, looking down at me.

I nodded, wincing a bit. My head still hurt slightly from all the torture I received from the man and his men four days ago.

“Yes, I'm getting better. You went to see Scorpio right? How's he doing?”.

He sighed. “He's starting to recover and he's really worried about you.”.

He had dark circles, indicating that he was really stressed. His two children are not doing really well so it was really heartbreaking, especially at his age.
