Selena’s POV

I left the study uneasily and paced back to my room. Charles had just woken up.

"Where have you been? It's so early," Charles said casually, scratching his hair.

My stomach churned and I didn't know what to say.

I tried to catch my breath and make myself look normal.

"What's wrong, baby?"
