Selena’s POV

I was stupefied, and went into the hall of the villa. It has become a sea of roses. The staff wheeled in the dining car, and the shiny plates and covers were brought to the table.

A group of maids appeared in the hall like elves, sweeping out a clearing in the Sea of roses.

Another group of maids brought me dinner dresses, which Charles had prepared in advance. He chose a silvery white silk dress for me. In a sea of red roses, I am the only white rose.

As I walked out of the dressing room, I plucked a rose and stuck it in my hair....
