Penelope's POV:

“I gave you my all! Love me back you fool! My heart is on the floor for you! Why won’t—!”

“Baby, those are not the lyrics!”

“Who cares?! The lyrics will be whatever I want them to be!”

The song comes to an end. Sera and I collapse into the couch, breathing hard and laughing even harder. Colored lights flash, and in front of us is a flat screen TV showing song lyrics. Scattered around us are snacks and half drunk bottles of beer.

“You're a terrible singer, baby!” Seraphina screams into her microphone.

“You're even worse!” I scream back.

Feedback cuts through the air, shrill and annoying....
