I ran to wherever my feet led and having found a brown door I plunged forward swiftly closing the door behind and locking the key. My emotions scattered over the place, my senses low and my heart feels mushy in my chest.

My feet made the loudest thud in the room. I fell to my knees, my eyes clamped shut, the tears swimming to my cheek and for hours I maintained the posture. I let the tears flow, the scar still bone deep in my soul, the torture, and ridicule flashing before my eyes.
